Laminated expansion shunts

Laminated expansion shunts are made with an assembly of multiple layers of lamellas. (either copper or aluminium)

Different executions possible :

• Pressure-welded copper expansion shunts
  The expansion shunts are completely made out of copper lamellas (foils). In this execution the contact areas of the copper foils are welded under pressure by combination of pressure and heat forme compact massive contact are.
• Inert-gas-welded copper expansion shunts
  The expansion shunts are completely made out of copper lamellas (foils). In this execution the contact areas are made of flat copper and inert-gas welded to the copper foils.
• Pressure-riveted copper expansion shunts
  The expansion shunts are completely made out of copper lamellas (foils). In this execution the contact areas, of the copper foils are riveted with copper sheet and pressed.
  
• Inert-gas-welded aluminum expansion shunts
  The expansion shunts are completely made out of aluminium lamellas (foils). In this execution the contact areas are made of flat aluminium and inert-gas welded to the aluminium foils.
  

Standard widths for lamellas :
38 mm – 48 mm – 58 mm – 78 mm – 98 mm – 118 mm – 150 mm – 200 mm (other dimensions upon request).
Lamellas thickness :
0.1 mm, 0.2 mm or 0.3 mm
Shunt Thickness :
as from 5 mm up to 40 mm (other dimensions upon request)
